CURRENT EXHIBITION: Frank (WYSO) : Twisted Olive

WYSO by nature saw humor in life situations as exhibited in many of his artworks. So it is with this exhibit “Twisted Olive”. Frank Wyso was a deeply imaginative, self-taught artist whose vast, energetic body of work blends personal history, folk memory, social commentary,and inventive technique, making him a significant figure in American visionary and outsider art.

WYSO looked at the world the way good meals and good music ask us to—slowly, with curiosity and a sense of humor. That spirit moves quietly through “Apollo”. Frank Wyso, self-taught and deeply imaginative, drew from memory, folklore, and everyday life to create work that feels personal and alive. His images are meant to be lived with, enjoyed between conversations, and discovered over time—like a familiar song or a shared table.
